Connecting Unbounce to Insightly

Send leads captured by Unbounce landing pages straight into Insightly.

What it does

Unbounce landing pages capture leads; this integration delivers them into Insightly so they enter your CRM process without manual export.

What you’ll need: an active Insightly CRM account with its API key and URL, and an Unbounce account with an active subscription and a page ready to connect. Setup takes about 2–5 minutes and is managed entirely from the Unbounce side, using the Insightly API to create or update Leads and Contacts.

  1. Log into the Unbounce landing page builder.
  2. On the Page Overview screen for the landing page you want to connect, go to the Integrations tab and select Insightly CRM from the list of native integrations.

  1. Enter your Insightly API Key and URL.

  1. Wait for Unbounce to validate the credentials.
  2. Choose how leads should be sent: as Lead or Contact records, and whether a new record should always be created or an existing record with a matching email should be updated instead. (These options may be limited by your Insightly permissions.)

  1. Once connected, map your Unbounce form fields to the corresponding Insightly fields.

Unbounce forms include hidden fields by default (Page ID, Page Variant, Page URL) and support custom hidden fields with default values, so you can track which landing page a lead came from directly in Insightly, either on standard fields or custom ones you create for the purpose.

ℹ️ First Name is required for Contact records, and Last Name for Lead records; Email is required if you’re updating existing records on a matching address. Unmapped required fields produce an error. Worth also making these fields mandatory on the Unbounce form itself, or visitors can skip them and the record will fail to save.

Once set up, new leads to the page are created as the configured record type in Insightly automatically.
