Languages (Service & CRM)
Enterprise administrators can add languages at System Settings > Languages, applying across the service desk, email notification templates, and knowledge articles. Customers choose from the languages you offer on the Portal and read knowledge articles in their own.
ℹ️ A customer submitting a ticket receives the email notification template in their language where one is set up, and in English otherwise.
Adding a language
- Go to System Settings > Languages.
- Click Add Language.
- Select from the Language dropdown.
- Check Visible in Portal to offer it on the Public Portal Website. Unchecked, it is available on the agent side only.
- Click Save Language.
ℹ️ A language disappears from the dropdown once added, so the list shrinks as you go.
Edit or delete through the three-dot menu beside the language name at System Settings > Languages.
Supported languages
Service, 39 languages: Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.
CRM, 6 languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese.
⚠️ Service and CRM support very different language sets. Service offers 39, CRM offers 6. An account running both will have customers who can read a knowledge article in their own language but cannot use the CRM in it.
