Auto Stop Protection
Auto Stop Protection keeps your Recipes running past your monthly Task limit by automatically purchasing more Tasks, instead of your integrations stopping mid-cycle.

What happens without it
If you exceed your monthly Task limit and Auto Stop Protection isn’t active, every integration and data sync operation stops for the rest of the month. Nothing restarts automatically. You’ll need to manually restart every Recipe once your Task allocation resets at the start of the next billing cycle.
How Auto Stop Protection works
When your account hits 100% of its monthly Task limit, Auto Stop Protection automatically charges the credit card on file $249.00 USD for an additional 25,000 Tasks, so your Recipes keep running. Those extra Tasks don’t roll over: at the start of the next billing cycle, your account reverts to its normal plan limit regardless of whether you bought extra Tasks the month before.
Plan pricing
The cost and the extra Task amount are the same across every AppConnect plan tier.
| Plan | Auto Stop charge | Additional Tasks |
|---|---|---|
| 25K | $249.00 USD | 25,000 |
| 100K | $249.00 USD | 25,000 |
| 250K | $249.00 USD | 25,000 |
| 500K | $249.00 USD | 25,000 |
For current plan pricing and Task limits, see the AppConnect plan pricing page.
Restarting stopped Recipes
If your Recipes stopped because you hit your Task limit, they can restart automatically in two cases:
- Auto Stop Protection is enabled and the additional 25,000-Task charge succeeds within 10 minutes of hitting 100% usage.
- Auto Stop Protection was recently enabled, or an earlier payment issue on your account has since been resolved.
Outside those two cases, Recipes stay stopped until your Task allocation resets at the start of the next month, and you’ll need to restart them manually.
Turning it on or off
Auto Stop Protection turns on automatically the moment you add a credit card to your AppConnect account. You can enable or disable it manually from System Settings > AppConnect > Enable Auto-Stop Protection.
⚠️ Removing your card disables this. If you remove credit card information from the account, Auto Stop Protection turns off with it. If you then hit your Task limit, integrations and data sync will stop with no automatic recovery, since there’s no card on file to charge.
